Getting Started

We review all of your written website requirements and determine the correct structure and layout that you will need. We will also ask you about styles and designs you like. Next, we’ll prepare a proposal for developing out your website and send it over for your to review. If accepted, we send over a service agreement for you to sign and then we will get started on your Website design. At this point, we will also setup a hosting account where your site will reside.

Your Brand and Theme

We incorporate your branding elements into the website design. By utilizing your logo, brand color palette, brochure, and business cards, we make sure your brand is quickly identifiable online. If you do not have any of these elements, we can work with you to help create them should you choose to do so. However, they are not a requirement.

We then use a combination of professional stock images, illustrations, icons to continue developing the central theme for your site. The theme will carry on throughout the site and make it uniquely yours.

WordPress Platform

We utilize the open-source WordPress Content Management System (CMS) as a base architecture for your new website. A CMS will allow you to login to the site to make page edits or blog posts if you choose to do so. If not, we offer full Website maintenance plans. We will also select a customizable theme that is consistently updated by developers for the best security. If extended functionality is required, we will add the correct plugins for the specific task. We also add and configure security plugins as a standard practice.

Deliverables

When your website is ready for you to review, we will send you a link to have a look. Once you have given us feedback and we have made any adjustments or modifications, we will ask if the finished product is approved. If so, we will move the site to a live working environment, and the site will officially be online and discoverable by all the search engines. We will then supply you with all of the login credentials you need for editing and managing your site.
